Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the day-to-day operations on-site to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Oversee the construction team, including subcontractors and labour, ensuring safe working practices at all times.
- Coordinate and monitor the progress of construction activities, ensuring adherence to schedules and specifications.
- Liaise with architects, surveyors, and contractors to resolve any technical or operational issues.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment.
- Produce and manage reports, including site progress reports and health and safety documentation.
- Maintain excellent relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Site Manager, ideally with a background in volume residential construction.
- Strong understanding of building regulations, health and safety legislation, and construction processes.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work to tight deadlines.
- CSCS card, SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) and First Aid certification.
- A proactive, hands-on approach to site management.
