Junior Planner – Ramsgate – Main Contracting Business – £35,000 to £45,000 per annum
Our client are one of Kent’s largest Main Contractor who have sites across Kent, who are looking for a Junior Planner to work from their offices and support the pre-contracts team. These projects will cover a multitude of sectors, including schools, refurbsihments, commercial builds and residential developments .
This role would suit a Junior Planner, a Quantity Surveyor, a recent Construction Management graduate with a sandwich year in industry, or a Pre-construction Engineer/Manager.

Requirements for this position
- Experience with Asta Power Project
- Ideally having experience with NEC contracts
- Construction knowledge and experience
Duties:
- Creating, maintaining and reviewing a programme of work
- Ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget
- Liaising with surveyors, engineers and architects
- Producing progress reports and forecasts for team members, clients and stakeholders
- Breaking large jobs down into phases of development
- Using project management tools to plan timeframes
- Working with estimators to calculate the resources needed for a project
- Planning contingency programmes in case timeframes change
- Meeting with contractors and suppliers
Package on offer for a Junior Planner:
- £35,000 to £45,000 per annum
